 To
meet the trends of larger more heavily loaded piles, Steelcom supply
the HH1146 series hammer with a range of ram weights of 11, 14
and 16 tonne, able to operate at a maximum stroke of 1500mm improving
the impact energy rating by 25%.
This hammer is suitable for 1200mm
diameter tubes when operated with a pile sleeve.
Our 1146 hammer
is seen here operating in 14 tonne mode driving steel tubes up
to 46 metres in length and 1 metre in diameter, during wharf construction
as part of the Australian Marine Complex development in WA.
