On 19 December 2007, Steelcom has joined the ThyssenKrupp international business. The new ThyssenKrupp Steelcom offers ThyssenKrupp a strong footprint in the Australia/New Zealand market and is consistent with the ThyssenKrupp approach to the market offering availability of Sheet Piles and piling equipment.

The marriage of the two provides ThyssenKrupp Steelcom with access to improved stock availability, technical support and new products/suppliers.

Curtain Bros
Breaking New Ground!

November 2008

Australian Contractors, Curtain Bros based in Townsville, Qld have purchased a new piece of equipment to be used in their ground consolidation operations in Papua New Guinea. The machine is an RIC unit (rapid impact compactor) designed by BSP International Foundations Ltd (UK) bought exclusively through ThyssenKrupp Steelcom out of Newcastle, NSW.
