ABI HVR 75 Hydraulic vibrators are
the most widely used equipment for driving and extracting sheet
piles, casings and profiles with excellent performance and precision.
Abigroup Limited- one of Australia’s major engineering and
building construction, civil contractors with the largest earthmoving
fleet of any contractor in Australia - has commissioned ThyssenKrupp
Steelcom for the use of the ABI HVR75 excavator mounted vibro hammer
to drive 8.5m sheetpiles.
ThyssenKrupp Steelcom also provided to this project corner sections
(Wall-Profile Omega 12) that were 11.8 m in length and 2 x 11.8
corner sections of 23.6 l/m. These wall profiles are suitable for
connecting sheet pile walls erected from different directions.
Steve Cruwys, Abigroup Contractors Project Engineer was very
impressed, they were successfully driving 8.5m LX20 sheetpiles,
toeing into 1m of very dense sand. Driving 25 sheets per day was
more than he forecasted.
Mounted onto a Komatsu PC450 excavator, the HVR-75 enabled the
contractor get more work out of less equipment by utilizing a machine
that is already on the job site rather than having to bring in
another piece of machinery.
Additional advantages of the ABI HVR75 are: short start and stopping
times, high revolutions, low noise level, low weight, high centrifugal
forces and low design height.
ThyssenKrupp Steelcom offers total piling solutions including
hire and sell of steel sheet piles, impact and vibratory piling
hammers ranging from excavator mounted to large crane suspended
units, as well as, foundation equipment.
